Jamia Millia Islamia's 'Centenary Year Convocation' Will Be Presided Over By Dharmendra Pradhan

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will have its Centenary Year Convocation on July 23, 2023, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi for students who graduated in the Academic Years 2019 and 2020. The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, has agreed to be the Convocation's Chief Guest, and Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will preside over the event.
Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of JMI, requested that Union Education Minister invite him to chair the Centenary Year Convocation, which Minister graciously accepted.
The Vice-Chancellor thanked the Hon'ble Minister of Education for giving her an audience. She used the occasion to update the Hon'ble Minister on JMI's recent accomplishments and exceptional achievements. The Minister's unique interest in JMI was clear from the fact that he was already up to date on the varsity's most spectacular efforts and successes. During the discussion, she also mentioned her idea to construct a medical college at JMI.
